So I went to Wales yesterday. I must say though it was very anti-climatic. A few girls and I went to Tesco (kinda like their walmartish) because one girl is studying milk and had to look at a bunch of different types... and we needed some snacks for our rooms. Anyways- we shopped around for abit then after trudging across the black ice covered parking lot, gettin in the passenger seat ( on the left side)- we took off from Tesco. I was just bewildered by being on the other side of the car I had no idea what else was going on. SO we ended up driving out and taking a wrong turn! I had no idea it was wrong- I was just looking at everything this side of Chester had to offer! All the cars were parked half on the curb- there was a jaguar car store... la de da... eventually someone in the back calls out "Hey- I think we've gone the wrong way!" Sure enough - we had gone the wrong way- right into ANOTHER COUNTRY!! Kate's like- oh yes- we're in Wales. Of course at this information I freaked! I was like AH! I'M IN WALES! IT was like nine oclock and i couldn't see anything... but i was in WALES! That adds country number four to my list! We eventually turned around- with a bit of difficulty- and made our way safely back into England eventually finding the Uni. But I will never forget those brief and beautiful moments in wales. The moon was shining, the grass was green, car lights were passing, and the world seems good. Everything goes a bit slower in Wales you know? After my time spent there i realized there is nothing quite like that Welsh air in your lungs. Okay that last bit is rubbish... but i really have been to Wales now and I hope that was exciting to you as it was for me.
Cheers!
